Sybil Laverne Kyes, 85, of Cleveland and formerly of Huachua City, Az., died Wednesday morning in a local health care facility.
Mrs. Kyes was the daughter of the late Lola Anderson Sullivan and Richard Sullivan. Her husband, Ford Kyes also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kyes worked as a book keeper most of her life and she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Huachua City, Az. Mrs. Kyes enjoyed playing golf and along with her husband Ford they traveled and played golf all over the World. She was of the Protestant Faith.
Survivors include her special aunt, Mrs. Lavel Henderson of Cleveland; her step-daughter, Stevie Newton of Hamilton, Mont.; her step-son, William Silvers and his wife Eleanor of Orange Beach, Ala.; her grandchildren, Pam Davis and her husband Jerry of Orange Beach, Chris Silvers of Cal., Rob Silvers and his wife Victoria of Clarksville, Tn., Jeff Silvers and his wife RaeAnn of Orange Beach; nine great-grandchildren; her cousins, Diana Jackson and her husband Royce of Cleveland, Michael Henderson and his wife Ann of Fayetteville, NC, Rhonda Myers of Pismo Beach, Cal., Sheila Rowe of Mo., Connie Durgan of Santa Cruz, Cal.; her special 2nd cousin, Emily Jackson of Cleveland; and several other 2nd cousins.
The Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be held privately for the family at a later time. Interment will be in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Salinas, Cal. The North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of the Cremation Services.
