Marion Herman Isaacs, 87, of Cleveland, died on Wednesday, September 9, 2009.
Mr. Isaacs was born in Benton, Ill. to the late Sarah Elizabeth Owens Isaacs and William “Bill” Monroe Isaacs; and was also preceded in death by his grandson, Darryl David Isaacs; his sisters, Dorothy Ing, Gladys Gostowski and Thelma Isaacs; and his brothers, Louis, Paul, Tracy and Randall Isaacs.
Mr. Isaacs was a W.W.II U. S Army Veteran serving in the Military Police. He was retired from the State of Wisconsin with many years of service as a nurse’s aide. Mr. Isaacs and his wife have been residents of Cleveland for the past four and a half years moving here from Eau Claire, Wi. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and enjoyed entertaining his grandchildren by imitating Donald Duck and making the Train Whistle sound. Mr. Isaacs attended the Westmore Church of God.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mary Isaacs of Cleveland; his sons, David Isaacs and his wife Charlene also of Cleveland, and Gary Isaacs and his wife Peggy from Brooklyn Park, Minn.; his grandchildren, Bruce Isaacs and his wife Sheri of Columbia Heights, Minn., Derek Isaacs and his wife Alanna of Shakopee, Minn., Lynnette Toledo and her husband Tomas of Brooklyn Park, Minn. and Dan Isaacs and his wife Crystal of Murfreesboro; his great-grandchildren, Gavin and Grady Isaacs of Shakopee, Minn., Anthony, Jessica, Chloe and Gabriella Toledo of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, September 12, at 2 p.m. from the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Reverend Wendell Smith and Reverend Max Morris officiating.
Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted Monday, September 14, at 10 a.m. from the U. S. National Cemetery in Chattanooga with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Military honors will be given.

The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, at the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who has charge of the arrangements.
