Precept Ministries will host a series of inductive Bible study method and topical workshops in Chattanooga Nov. 8-13. In addition, Bible Study Leaders can work through the soon-to-be-published Precept Upon Precept study of Zechariah in an intensive workshop this week and attend live lectures on the study series by David Arthur.
The Fall Inductive Bible Study Method workshops include “How to Study Precept Upon Precept,” “How to Study Old Testament History and Prophecy,” “How to Study New Testament Letters,” “Word Studies,” and “Structuring.”
Individuals wishing to learn how to lead Precept Upon Precept Bible Studies can choose from “Basics of Precept Upon Precept” or “How to Lead ‘Precept Upon Precept’ Bible Studies.”
Precept Ministries also holds a workshop for adults wishing to learn how to teach the Inductive Bible Study Method to children (ages 8-12) entitled, “Discover For Yourself (D4Y) How to Teach Kids How to Study the Bible” based on the ministries’ children series titled “Discover 4 Yourself.”
Topical studies offered during this time include “Finding Your Place of Service in the Church,” “How the Bible Fits Together,” “Witnessing” and “Biblical Prayer.”
All workshops are one day with the exception of “How to Lead Precept Upon Precept,” which is two days.
Bible Study Leaders are invited to work through Precept’s newest Precept Upon Precept study in November in preparation to lead the study when it becomes available in early March. This study requires advance study work so participants are encouraged to register early.
Those attending the Inductive workshops and Zechariah study program are invited to also attend the lecture series on Zechariah and serve as the audience as Precept Ministries records David Arthur’s lectures.
While there, attendees can are invited to hear Kay Arthur and David Arthur teach on selected evening on topics specifically selected for the attendees, learn ministry updates on student, international and children’s ministries, and enjoy meals with key staff and Precept authors.
