Crystal Bland
Crystal Y. Bland, 64, died on May 15, 2011 in East Ridge, Tennessee.
She was employed with the City of Chattanooga. She was also a retiree of the United States Army.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Annie Mae Bland.
Crystal’s survivors include her sons, James M. Bland III and Nathan Lee Jr.; daughters, Mico Renee and Jocelyn Mack; grandchildren, Jovan Bland, Ben Adepo, Andre Young, Nikita Jones, Twanda Jones, Fredrick Jones, Jr. and Keshawn Franklin, Chez’ Marie Franklin and Autumn S. Grant; aunts, Helen Strange, Willie Ann Beverly, Odessa McDaniels, Yvonne Powell, Miriam Willis; cousins, Angela Crutch and Valerie Fields.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will be on Monday, May 23, at 10 a.m. at National Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, May 20, with the family receiving friends from 7–8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
