Frederick Lee Odom, 75, of Soddy Daisy, died on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011.
Lee was born on Jan. 15, 1936 in Lakeview, Tx. He spent his adult life working and traveling all over the world for the oil industry. Lee was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Odom was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Lee Briggs Odom; his father, Fredrick Lee Odom and wife, Billie Odom; mother, Minnie Alma Phillips and husband, Henry W. Bergamo; and nephew, Jimmy Don Bryant.
Survivors include his son, Ricky Lee Odom and wife, Sandy Odom, of Carlsbad, N.M.; daughter, Kellie Lee Robison and husband, Berry Robison, of Signal Mountain; two grandchildren, Travis Lee Odom, of Cleveland, Tn., and Randi Nicole Robison, of Signal Mountain; brother, Johnny R. Odom and wife, Kay Odom, of Corinth, Tx.; three sisters, Berniece Jordan, of Las Vegas, Nev., Joyce Luker and husband, Don Luker of Phoenix, Ariz. and Lynda O'Dell and husband, Melvin O'Dell, of Prescott, Ariz.; five nephews, Jerry O'Dell, Ronny O'Dell, Danny O'Dell, Terry Jordan and Anthony Odom; four nieces, Jeannie Wade, Janie Ortega, Erica DeHart and Caroline Odom; eight great-nephews and seven great-nieces.
He was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
There will be a gathering on Thursday, August 18, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
