Jeanette Miller
Jeanette Daughtrey Miller, 82, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.
She was retired from DuPont after 30 years of service. She was an active member of Daisy Women’s Club, Soddy Daisy First Baptist Church and the Welcome Sunday School class. Jeanette was an avid animal lover, a rock of the family and the community, and a friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil A. Miller; sister, Norma Daughtrey Garrett; parents, Homer and Lucille Daughtrey.
Survivors include her sons, Allen (Trina) and Michael (Beth) Miller, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, April 26, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Lee Griggs and Reverend Doug Duty officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is Thursday, April 25, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
