Johnson Arrested For Having Prohibited Weapons On School Grounds In East Ridge

Eric Johnson, 18, has been arrested for having prohibited weapons on a school campus.

On Thursday, around 7 a.m., East Ridge Police  responded to a traffic crash on the campus of East Ridge High School. During the initial traffic investigation, Johnson, one of the drivers involved, was found to have prohibited edged weapons in his vehicle.

A fixed blade survival knife was observed in the vehicle by a school administrator. Johnson was also found to be in possession of a folding pocket knife. 

He was arrested and charged with possessing a weapon on school grounds.
