Frances Wilhoit
Frances Harris Wilhoit, 94, formerly of Chattanooga, died on Monday morning, April 27, 2015, at ClareBridge of Fort Collins, CO.
She was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Mary E. Harris. She was born on Lookout Mountain, GA in 1920, and was the wife of the late Eugene S. Wilhoit for over 44 years. She was a devoted wife, avid gardner, excellent cook, accomplished at crossword puzzles and quilting, and a loving sister, mother and grandmother.
She was a member of First Church of the Nazerene for many years, and then Apison Baptist Church. She moved to Fort Collins, in 2008 to be near her son, Bill, and attended Immanuel Community Church.
She is survived by her brother, Edward C. Harris of Cedar Bluff, MS; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Terry Jackson, of Fort Collins, CO; granddaughter and family, John and Christine Wilson, and two great-grandchildren, John and Lauren Wilson, of Colorado Spring; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Loveless Cemetery across from McNutt Memorial Church on Lookout Mountain, AL.
A graveside service will be held on May 2, at 3 p.m. CST.
