Rick Meredith
Richard Allen “Rick” Meredith, 50, of Rossville, died on Friday, January 8, 2015 in a local hospital.
Rick was a 1983 graduate of Kirkman Technical High School and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He enjoyed all sports, drag racing, car shows and the Tennessee Vols, and was most happy spending time with his family and friends. Rick was employed as body shop manager for Premier Truck Group.
He was preceded in death by his cousin, Kayla Jones, and aunt, Linda Hensley.
Survivors include his daughters, Sara Ashlee and Izabella Grace Meredith; parents, Kenneth and Sybil Meredith; brothers, Kenneth Meredith, Jr., and David Meredith; niece, Bailee Meredith; aunts, Charlotte (Bob) Martin, Judy (Harold) Hays, and Patricia (Jack) Cooke; special friends, Deidre Pool, and Stephanie Parrish; several cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 10, at 2:30 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 24 Kay Street, Rossville, with Pastor Paul O’Neal and Chaplain Bill Holland officiating. Burial will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery.
