Walter Richard Sumrell died on October 4, 2018 at the age of 62.
He was born in Chattanooga. He attended OLPH Elementary School, Henderson HS in Atlanta and graduated from Notre Dame HS in 1974. He attended college at MTSU on a track schlorship. He owed and operated Sumrell Pool and Restoration Servcies in Chattanooga and Atlanta.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Rita Sumrell, and his brother, Charles.
He is survived by his brother, Stan Sumrell and his sisters, Rhesa and Christine Sumrell, his daughter, Megan Griffin, and grandchildren, Ily and Stevie; son, Shaun and daughter, Lindsey.
