Anne Parker, 86, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday March 30, 2018

She was born April 5, 1932, in Middlesboro, Ky., and grew up in Cumberland Gap, Tn.

She was the daughter of the late Van Horton and Mayola Givens Fuson. Anne graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with a teaching degree, and began her teaching career in a one-room school in Bell County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gibson Parker, daughter, Linda Anne Parker, and brother, Harvey Horton Fuson.

Anne is survived by her sister, Emily Howard of Arjay, Ky.; children, Kenneth Andrew Parker (Andy) of Chattanooga, Frank Edward Parker (Eddy) of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Justin Parker and Megan Parker of Chattanooga and Sarah Parker of Raleigh, NC.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Chattanooga Bridge Center, 1103 Dayton Blvd, Chattanooga, Tn. 37405.

Arrangements are being handled by the Chattanooga Funeral Home East.  Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at the funeral home.
