Our beloved mother, Patricia Lenora Mitchell Cole, of Trenton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 4, 2019.
Formerly of Flat Rock, Al., she had worked as a beautician for many years in Beckley, WV, a bank teller at Citizens Bank & Trust in Trenton, and drove over-the-road across the country in an 18-wheeler with her sweetheart for 15 years.
Mrs. Cole was a member of New England Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Alfred “Dick” Lewis Cole; her parents, Ray and Mary Lee Mitchell; and brother, Michael Mitchell.
Survivors include her sons, Richard (Dana) Cole, of Cleveland and Jon (Amy) Cole, of Trenton; daughters, Mary Cole, of Mentone, Al. and Lori (Joe) Ridge, of Hixson; special niece, Connie and Tracy Snodgrass, of Rock Hill SC; sister, Jenny Graham, of Grandview, WV; brother, J.T. Mitchell, of Birmingham; grandchildren, Sheena Hatcher, Taylor Williams, Chase, Violet, Ciara & Cassidy Cole, Kelly Hale, Bradley & Logan Ridge, & Tori Jones; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Mason, Liberty and Keegan; and several nieces & nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. at New England Baptist Church, 240 New England Road, Wildwood, Ga. 30757. Rev. Matt Hastings will officiate.
