Dalton State Gets 2nd Fall Win At Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate

VONORE, Tenn. - #7 Dalton State came from behind on Sunday and got the W, their second tournament win of the Fall with an eight-stroke victory in the Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate at The Links at Kahite in Venore, Tenn.
 
#24 Reinhardt (Ga.) shot 895 (+31) to take second, with #9 Southeastern (Fla.) at 898 (+34) in third. Rounding out the top 5 was tournament host Tennessee Wesleyan at 904 (+40) and #17 Cumberland (Tenn.) at 908 (+44).
 
This is the fourth-straight victory for Dalton State at the Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate and the first at The Links at Kahite.

Other team victories in the Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate came in 2016, 2017, and 2018 at Tennessee National Golf Club in Loudon, Tenn.

The #7-ranked Roadrunners posted a final day 291 (+3) for a tournament total of 886 (+22).
Ben Rebne led the Dalton State contingent with a 68 (-4) in the final round to win individual medalist honors by three strokes.

Matthew Cleary carded a final round 69 (-3) to jump into the runner-up spot behind Rebne.
Sport Allmond made it three Birds in the top 5 with a closing 72 (E) and a fifth-place finish.
Tucker Windham and Eli Hendricks finished in a tie for 34th and 39th respectively.
 
#7 Dalton State will get to work again on October 21 & 22 in the TMU Fall Preview at Barnsley Gardens in Adairsville, Ga.
