Harrison resident Sandra Kaye Hesler has her story included in the new Chicken Soup for the Soul: Angles All Around.

Ms. Hesler is a mother of two teenagers whom she homeschooled for two years. She is a monthly contributor to the “SDA Homeschool Families” homeschool blog, and she is currently working on building a freelance writing business. In her free time, Ms. Hesler enjoys writing and collecting books, as well as hiking, camping and canoeing with her son and daughter.

In Chicken Soup for the Soul: Angels All Around, Ms. Hesler shares how her daughter fell off a hay ride when she was younger, resulting in her head being run over by a truck. Shocking everyone, her daughter walked away with only minor injuries.

Ms. Hesler has a book signing Saturday, Nov. 9, 6:30 p.m. for her story in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Angels All Around. It will be held at A Little Bookish at 8898 Old Lee Hwy. Suite 110 in Ooltewah.

Chicken Soup for the Soul: Angels All Around features 101 personal, revealing stories filled with tales, demonstrating how miracles can happen when and how we least expect them, said officials.
