Thursday, October 31, 2019

Harriet (Tubman). The newest movie about her will be in theaters Saturday. No one movie can do justice to this complicated woman. So many writers have had benign but pointed slants.

If you're going to see this movie do yourself a favor and read the Smithsonian article "The True Story Behind the Harriet Tubman Movie". It is well written, respectful and will increase your perspective of her life.
