Harold E. Pickett, 92, of Hixson, died on October 5, 2019.  

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Ann and son, Gary Pickett.  

Harold was a minister, World War II veteran of the US Navy and retired builder.  He was an avid gardener and loved speak of building and the Bible.  

He is survived by his wife, Flaudia Pickett, one daughter, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends.  

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Lane Funeral Home and a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Lane Funeral Home with interment to follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
