Man Shot Early Tuesday Morning Drives Himself To Hospital

A 38-year-old male arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound around 1:18 a.m. Tuesday.

When Chattanooga Police arrived at the hospital, the victim advised he drove himself to the hospital after being shot.

Officers located his vehicle, secured it and called for the CPD Violent Crimes Unit to respond.

Investigators were able to determine that the victim was driving in the 1600 block of South Kelly Street when an unknown vehicle pulled up and began shooting at him.
