Firefighters quickly stopped a kitchen fire from spreading at an apartment complex in East Brainerd on Tuesday night.
Fire crews were called to 115 Timber Knoll Dr. around 7 p.m. at the Timber Ridge Cooperative Homes.
A kitchen fire in one of the units spread to an adjacent wall.
Quint 8 made an interior attack and got the fire under control.
Quint 8, Quint 21, Squad 13, Quint 13, Quint 7, Battalion 2 and Battalion 1 were on scene.
Responding fire officials say the cause was electrical.
There were no injuries.
