Heating System Repaired In UTC Residence Hall

  • Wednesday, November 13, 2019

Heat has been restored to all of Boling Apartments residence housing at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Students affected by the lack of heat have been told they can return to their rooms.

The heating system in the complex went offline on Tuesday afternoon, but heat was restored to the majority of the complex by 9 p.m.

It could not be restored in one section, however, and repairs for that area were finished Wednesday afternoon.

On Tuesday, alternative sleeping arrangements were made in the UTC Aquatic and Recreation Center for students living in the unheated section of Boling.

Only two students had not made their own arrangements, and they were placed in other residence halls on campus.
