Green Thumb Garden Club Meets Nov. 25

The Green Thumb Garden Club of Ooltewah/Collegedale will meet at Morning Pointe at Greenbriar Cove, 9650 Leyland Drive, Ooltewah on Monday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m. 

Ruth Holt Imberger, president, owner, designer, and operator of Ruth's Florist & Gifts will be the speaker. She will be "Demonstrating Holiday Floral Arrangements."

First-time visitors are welcome at no charge. Annual memberships are $15 per person or $25 per family.

A man is facing numerous felony charges after leading sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase down Hixson Pike. Firefighters Knock Down Flames At House On Shallowford Road

he Chattanooga Fire Department responded to Shallowford Road Saturday after receiving reports that flames and heavy black smoke were coming from a home in the 400 block. It happened at 12:33 a.m. Responding units found a working fire at 404 Shallowford Road and started attacking it.
