Geneva Baker
Geneva Baker, age 82, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday evening, November 6, 2019, at Regency Park surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 26, 1937 in Ducktown, Tn., a daughter of the late Aster and Etta Pack Baker. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Ted Sutton and James Noles; brothers, Lee Baker and Berlin Baker; and sisters, Maxine Pierce and Juanita Headrick.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Jean Sutton of Chatsworth, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Johnny Clark of Dalton, Ga., Geraldine “Dennie” and Jim Rymer of Chatsworth, Ga.; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Also the family would like to thank all the special caregivers at Regency Park for the care provided.
Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Geneva Baker will be held Friday, Nov. 8, at 3 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Marty Greene officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with Aaron, Dillion, Treston, Noah, Branson and Adam serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 8, from 12-3 p.m.
