Roosevelt House
Roosevelt House, 66, passed away on December 5, 2019, in Chattanooga.
He was a student at Howard High School where he played football and boxing. He was employed by Acucast and worked as a chef at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. He loved to cook, fish, read, tell a great story, garden, work on cars, football and most of all fishing.
Roosevelt was preceded in death by father, Everette House; mother, Geneva House; brothers, Everette House, Jr., Hubert House, Sr., Eugene House; and sister, Alma Munford.
He leaves to cherish his memories brothers, Stevenson House, Larry House, Stewart House; sisters, Elanora Lee, Helen Glass and Vivian Moore; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be from 12-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, in the chapel.
Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
