Chattanooga State Community College Adult Services director Marsha Goolesby-Barker will present an information session about the TN Reconnect program at Monteagle Elementary School, 120 Main Street in Monteagle on Thursday at 6 p.m. CST.
Officials said attendees will learn how higher education can help to gain new skills, advance in the workplace, and fulfill lifelong dreams of completing a degree or credential. Current Reconnect students from Grundy, Marion, and Franklin Counties will join Ms.
Barker to share their experiences.
TN Reconnect provides free tuition to adults ages 24 and older who have not earned an associate or bachelor’s degree and meet qualifications.
This free information session is co-hosted by South Cumberland Community Fund, Monteagle Elementary School, Sewanee Elementary School, Grundy County Board of Education, The University of the South and Chattanooga State.
