Alincia Peterson (Renea)
A second woman has been arrested in the case in which a man was stabbed, robbed and left in a ditch in Bradley County on Saturday.
Alincia Renea Peterson, the fugitive suspect from this weekend's robbery, was arrested Wednesday night in Etowah with the help of the 10th Judicial District Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and the McMinn County Sheriff's Department.
Kaitlyn Dakota Evans, who was caught earlier, is facing charges of felony especially aggravated robbery. She was booked into the Bradley County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
The man said he had asked the women for a ride to Chattanooga to retrieve tools he left at a job site. He said on the way they stopped at a store to get beer and cigarettes. Authorities retrieved video from the store showing the man with one of the women.
Afterward, he said they demanded money. He said when he refused, the black female stabbed him several times with a pair of scissors. They then drove to a rural area and dumped him in a ditch.
The man remembered the last four digits of the black female's phone number, which helped lead the officers to the name Alincia Peterson.
He said the vehicle involved was a maroon Toyota Camry with peeling paint on the hood and a missing rear hubcap. Authorities spotted that car on Tuesday and arrested Ms. Evans.
The scissors, the victim's phone and some blood were in the vehicle.
