John Elijah “Eli” Ford, 25, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019.  

He was a lifelong resident of Soddy Daisy. Eli loved the outdoors, music and was a loyal friend and brother. He was such a loving son.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin H. Ford and Dorothy R. Ford, Billy G. Hickman and Janice Hodges Hickman; aunt, Karajo Hickman and uncle, Scott Hickman.

Survivors are his parents, Angela Renee Hickman Qualls (Ken) and Ken Ford (Shelba); brother, Alex Ford (Jameika Ford); step-brothers, Kenny Qualls and Bradley Qualls (Meredith); niece, Kaylee Qualls; aunts, Kim Gay (Brian), Kathy Street (Jerry), Kerrie Hickman; several cousins and extended family and lifelong friend Taylor Perkey; girlfriend, Hillary Brennan and daughter, Emma.

Services will be on Friday, Aug. 16, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Nunley officiating.  

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Friday before the service at the funeral home.
