Work Continues On Water Main Break In Lookout Valley

  • Thursday, August 22, 2019

Water is being restored on Thursday to the majority of customers impacted by the main break that happened early Thursday morning at 3300 Cummings Road.

Higher elevations will take longer for their water to be restored.

The location of the main makes it a challenging and lengthier repair so Tennessee American Water has taken steps to minimize the number of customers impacted.

20 customers and business locations are impacted.

If customers experience air or discolored water after their water service is restored, they should run their cold tap until it runs clear.

“At the end of every tap we know there is a family counting on water being there,” said Director of Operations Kevin Kruchinski. “We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work safely to restoring water service.”
