Tennessee Wesleyan Edges Chattanooga State Volleyball, 3-2

Tennessee Wesleyan University defeated Chattanooga State, 3-2, in the season volleyball opener for both schools Friday evening on the Lady Tigers’ home court.
 
Match scores were 25-21, 17-25, 25-22, 20-25, and 12-15.
 
Dakota Rawiszer led the way for Chattanooga State with 4 kills, 23 assists, and 3 aces. Brieana Hemphill  had 10 kills and 7 blocks.
 
According to Lady Tiger head coach Janet Tate, “I’m proud of the way the team played tonight against a team that was a little bigger  than us.
We executed well, and I’m pleased with the way the girls fought hard and never gave up. It was a good season opener.”
