Bright, Annie Mae (Dalton)

Annie Mae Bright, age 83, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, September 12, 2019 at a local hospital.

She was born April 18, 1936 in Dalton, a daughter of the late John and Mary Taylor Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Eugene Bright; brother, JV Jackson; sister, Betty Jean Jackson; and nephew, Roger Allen Masters.

She is survived by her son, Tony Bright; sister, Mary Elizabeth Masters; granddaughter, Brandi and Mick Beard; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Britton, and Bailey Beard; nephew, Gerald Jones; and niece, Cheryl Jones, all of Dalton, Ga.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Annie Mae Bright will be held Monday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Donny Cantrell and Dr. Danny Cochran officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15.
