Well-Behaved Women Do Make History

  • Monday, January 20, 2020

I have always liked Carol Berz but was disappointed that she used the old saying, "well-behaved women seldom make history," to try to excuse the boorish behavior of the motley collection of Professional Victims and Protesters disrupting Robin Smith's speech Saturday.

Margaret Thatcher, Sandra Day O'Connor , Condoleeza Rice, Nikki Haley and here closer to home Marilyn Lloyd, Marsha Blackburn, Pat Summitt and Patsy Hazelwood are all well-behaved women who made history. I would respectfully suggest any and all of these women are better role models for young women than the losers at the park Saturday.

And by the way, great turnout Saturday, 50 whole people turn out in a metro area of 500,000, which equals one out of every 10,000 people.

On the other hand Monica Lewinsky did make history.
