Harmon, Ruby Jewell Moore (Dunlap)

Ruby Jewell Moore Harmon, 78, of Dunlap, died peacefully at her home on January 18, 2020. She was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Sequatchie General Hospital. She loved spending time with her family, camping, her dog Meme, cat Blue, grand-dog Lily and loved working in her yard with her beautiful flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Ethel Dill Moore and sisters, Christine Moore Tate and Bonnie Moore.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eugene Harmon; children, Donna (Kenny) Brock, Alton (Sheri) Harmon, Cathy (Coy) Swanger and Beverly Harmon Phillips; brother, Vernon Moore; sisters, Mary Ruth (Dr. Albert) Propp and Sue Moore Swank; grandchildren, Gavin (Laura) Akins, Trevor (Sharon) Burgess, Brandon Akins, Chelsea Burgess, Marissa (Cody) Raulston, Hali (Austin Songer) Harmon, Cameron Swanger, Elijah Phillips, Dustin Akins and Braden Easterly; great-grandchildren, Blaykli Songer and Brentlee Akins; and special friends, Hugh Finley and LeRoy Hammers

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center, with Billy Wayne Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Sequatchie Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m.
