2 People Shot In Chattanooga In Separate Incidents Overnight

Two people were shot in Chattanooga overnight in separate incidents.
 
At approximately 6:04 p.m. on Friday, Chattanooga Police were called to a local hospital after a 17-year-old male arrived with injuries from a gunshot wound.
 
Police were informed by medical staff that the victim's injuries were considered non-life threatening.
 
The victim told police that he was walking in the 2100 block of Shepherd Road when he heard gunshots, then realized he had been shot.
 
In an incident at approximately 12:59 a.m. on Saturday, Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot call in the 3200 block of Conner Street.
 
Police located a 36-year-old man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
 
The victim told police that he was shot as he was exiting a residence by an unknown black male.
