Phillip Curtis Flanagan, Sr.

Phillip Curtis Flanagan, Sr., 60, a native of Nashville, Tennessee and formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 at his residence. 

He was a 1977 graduate of Maplewood High School.  He later attended University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Tennessee State University, and Chattanooga State Community College.  Phillip was retired from the United States Army. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Barrett Flanagan, Sr. and mother, Earline Burls Flanagan. 

Survivors include his sons, Phillip Curtis Flanagan, Jr. of Chattanooga and Quinn Lebron Flanagan of Nashville; brother, Lewis Barrett Flanagan, Jr. of Dallas, Tx.; sister, Sandra Flanagan Schickele of Davis, Ca.; and other relatives and friends. 

A graveside service will be Monday, Feb. 3, at 10:30 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
