Randy “Steve” Hullander, 70, of Apison, died on October 13, 2020, at his home.

A lifelong resident of Apison, Steve retired from Orkin Pest Control and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Hullander; sister, Mary Rapier; and brother, Terry Hullander.

Steve is survived by his wife, Jenny Whittle Hullander;  mother, Margie Hullander, Apison;  daughters, Heather Cornett, Apison,  Cindy (Richie) Huinlien, Zephyrhills, FL and Marcy (Adam) Parks, Bristol, TN;  sons, Andy (Tracey)  Cornett, Decatur, TN, Chad (Noreen) Hullander, Rome, GA, Steven (Brittany) Hullander and Adam (Tabitha) Hullander all of Cartersville, GA;  brother, Larry Hullander (Ronnie Minton), Ooltewah;  seventeen grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Fletcher Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Plowman Cemetery with Travis Hullander, Billy Ware, Michael Smith, Dennis Mahoney, Joe Holden, and Brandon Palmer serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd.
