Mary Emma Tidwell
Mary Emma Tidwell, 89, of Rossville, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 16, 2020 in a local health care facility.
Emma was born on Oct. 26, 1930 to the late Chester and Mary Wooten Allen in Ider, Al. She worked as a caregiver on Lookout Mountain for many years and was a member of Calvary Church of God. Emma enjoyed bowling, watching wrestling, church activities and listening to gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Buckles and granddaughter, Amy Melissa Buckles.
Survivors include her daughters, Denise Frady of Rossville, and Judith Renee Chinook of Tyler, TX; grandchildren, Melissa (Bryan) Glas, Christopher (Emily) McGrew, and Shawn Moore; great-granddaughters, Callie and Annie McGrew; and several extended family members and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct 22, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Frankie Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery, Ft. Payne, Al.
