Georgia Has 27 New COVID Deaths, 3,603 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Tuesday there have been 27 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 8,496.

There were 3,603 new cases as that total reached 391,466 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 33,439, up 174 from Monday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 1,780 cases, up 50; 26 deaths; 91 hospitalizations, up 1

Chattooga County: 1,075 cases, up 8; 30 deaths; 74 hospitalizations

Dade County: 442 cases, up 5; 6 deaths; 24 hospitalizations

Walker County: 2,265 cases, up 30; 49 deaths; 105 hospitalizations, up 1

Whitfield County: 6,783 cases, up 52; 75 deaths, up 4; 327 hospitalizations, up 3
