Janie Lou Williams, 90, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board until her health failed.

She was born in Athens, GA and graduated at the top of her High School class. 
 
Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Dora Williams; brothers,  Bob Williams and Charlie Lee Williams; and sister, Catherine (Homer) Dean.

She is survived by her nieces, Barbara Scott, Donna Williams and Triba Gary-Davis; nephews, Joseph (Brenda) Dean and Albert (Willie Mae) Dean; great nieces,  DeVonda McCloud, Kimnese (Ismael) Abdul-Salaam and Zsahackline Dean; great nephews, Joel (Lynette) Dean, and Albert Dean Jr., cousins, great-great nieces and nephews and devoted friends.

Public viewing will be held from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at the funeral home followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment is at Forest Hills Cemetery.
