Hall, Mary Lou (Cleveland)

Mary Lou Hall, 98, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 in Chattanooga. She was a lifelong resident of Cleveland. She loved cooking, and was an avid bird watcher; she could tell you every bird by sight and sound. She loved her family, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, J.E. Hall; sons, Gale E. Hall and Johnny G. Hall; parents, Oliver and Nancy Esalea Reagan; sisters, Stella and Mae Ogle; and brothers, Bruce M., Charlie and Harold Reagan.

Mary Lou is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Earl F. and Ann Hall; daughter, Sue Nicholson; grandchildren, Lisa, Cherie and Olan Hall, all of Cleveland, April Alsup and Lisa Campbell, of South Carolina, Scott and Shane Hall, Angela Miller and Amanda Baker, all of Cleveland; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Family will meet at 1 p.m Sunday, Nov. 29 at Mt. Bethel Cemetery for graveside services and interment, with Reverend Larry Humbard officiating. A playing of bagpipes and white dove release will conclude the ceremony.

Serenity of Cleveland is entrusted to the care of survivors and arrangements.
