Lee, Willie Mae (Summerville)

Willie Mae Lee, age 86, of Goodwin Drive, Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, afternoon, following an extended illness.

She was born in Polk County, Ga. on Feb. 6, 1934, a daughter of the late Estes and Lottie Mae Evans Turpin. Mrs. Lee was a member of South Summerville Baptist Church and was retired bookeeper.

She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Theresa Lee; and brothers, Leslie Turpin, Dolan Turpin, Ronald Turpin, and Robert J. Turpin.

Surviving are her husband, Fay Lee; daughters and spouses, Susan Floyd Smith, Lisa Lee (Mark) Humphrey, and Tonya Lee (Tracy) Hanks; sons and spouse, Jeff (Kelly) Floyd and Bradley Lee; special friends, Scott and Carla Hammond; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Feb. 14, at 3 p.m. from Greenhills Memory Garden with Joshua Lee and Scott Hammond officiating. Active pallbearers will be Travis Hanks, Ty Hanks, Charlie Logan, Joshua Lee, Taylor Sprayberry, Chandler Gray, Noah Floyd and Kaleb Daniel.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1-2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Earle Rainwater Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
