Marty Haynes Is A Man Of Service And Integrity - And Response (3)

Wednesday, February 12, 2020

Please join me in voting to re-elect Marty Haynes for assessor of property.

I have known Marty for over 50 years and can attest firsthand to his high character and unwavering commitment to his family, faith and passion for our community that has led him to be a public servant. Marty is a man of service and integrity who truly wants the best for Hamilton County as his accomplishments as assessor have shown.

Let’s keep stability and effective leadership in place as we re-elect Marty Haynes as our assessor of property.

I would like to throw my support behind retaining Marty Haynes as our Hamilton County property assessor.

Chattanoogan reaches a larger audience than Facebook, hands down. My FB shows I support Randy however that is not correct. For the record I have asked his campaign to correct this matter. I do support Randy as a county commissioner.

The current climate is becoming toxic for no valid reason other than mud slinging politics unbecoming of this race. To equate Creeks Bend and Valleybrook Golf courses as similar in property values is an Obama mindset of hope and change. Creeks Bend is floodplain as well as the residential values are not the same because of no houses on this golf course. Neither of the courses are what they were in value back in the day (70's) although I personally enjoy playing both of them still and highly encourage the upcoming generations to step away from your electronics to enjoy nature and the natural benefits it provides.

What Marty has done in this office has been recognized at the state level for his and his staff's accomplishments and should be rewarded to continue in his current position. Theses changes have been beneficial to Hamilton County as a whole, I feel.

As a friend of mine stated if Randy had been in the assessor's office and achieved this level of performance I would say stay the course for him also. Moral of the story if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Keep Marty Haynes.

Just drive down Hixson Pike anytime after an extended rainfall, especially today, and when you get to Creeks Bend Golf Course you will clearly see justification for the actions of the incumbent Hamilton County Property Assessor and his office staff.

Marty Haynes has done a superb job in his first term as Hamilton County Assessor of Property and deserves reelection.

My church recently bought a piece of property adjoining ours and the assessment seemed high given that the property had been used as a trash dump by the previous owner.  I didn’t have to call Marty, I just called the office and got an immediate response.  The friendly lady promised to look into it.  The problem was resolved not in months or weeks but in a few days!

Marty was elected Assessor of the year in 2018.  His office has received awards for their efficiency.  Why change what is working?  Reelect Marty Haynes.

Roy Exum: Why I Am Mystified

I am absolutely bewildered by the surge of Bernie Sanders in the Democratic Party. Make no mistake, I describe myself as a conservative moderate, in this time when each of us must have a definition in order to be attacked by those unlike us, but I personally do not think Bernie and his outlandish beliefs would be good for the American people. I’ve read reams about this guy and, ... (click for more)

Roy Exum: Marines Get It Done

In the wake of my Sunday story, which detailed the heroics of Marine Lt. General Chuck Pitman and the time he “borrowed” a Chinook helicopter to stop a serial killer in New Orleans, there came a little-known story that seems to have gotten overlooked during the 9/11 attacks on our country in 2001. When the hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 slammed into the west side of the Pentagon ... (click for more)

Randy Smith: Astros Are Scourge Of Major League Baseball

Now that Major League Baseball's spring training is officially underway it is becoming more and more evident that the Houston Astros are completely despised by other MLB teams.
