The UT Board of Trustees announced today they have developed a plan to make Randy Boyd the UT president for the next five years. After 20 years of hiring clowns, buffoons, has beens and never weres for both administrative and athletic department positions UTK appears now to be seeking candidates who are actually qualified for their jobs.
I met Chancellor DonDee Plowman at a reception last fall and was tremendously impressed with her, both professionally and personally. I have no doubt she and Mr. Boyd are the perfect pair to lead UT Knoxville to the goal of being a Top 25 Public University.
I don't know Steven Angle but from everything I have heard he and Mr Boyd will also be a wonderful combination for UTC.
