Man, 50, Killed In Single-Car Accident Saturday Night On Central Avenue

A man, 50, was killed Saturday night in a single-car accident on Central Avenue.

At approximately 11:13 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic/DUI Unit responded to 5100 Central Ave.
 
A Honda Civic was traveling south on Central Avenue when it left the roadway to the right striking a utility pole.
 
Upon arrival, police located the driver unresponsive and entrapped in the vehicle.
 
The driver was taken to the hospital via Hamilton County EMS where he succumbed to his injuries.
