Pair Sentenced To Federal Prison For Drug Deal Holdup On Signal Mountain Road

Two men were sentenced to time in federal prison on Monday for their part in a robbery at the Burger King parking lot on Signal Mountain Road.

Austin Collake got 37 months and Bradley Love received 33 months. After they get out of prison, they will be on supervised release for five years.

Earlier, Dylan Heard was sentenced to serve 60 months.

Prosecutors said the men had told someone they met on Craigs List they would bring a large amount of marijuana to the location in exchange for over $3,000.

The victim said the men had no marijuana with them, but instead each pulled out a gun and they took the money.

Prosecutor Chris Poole said the victim initially did not say the meeting was about a drug deal, but admitted so later.

The victim immediately called police and the trio was located a short distance away. Police found three guns as well as the cash.
