Jerel Carter, age 49, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, brother, and sister.
He is survived by his wife, Holly A. Carter, of Dalton; son, Charlie Carter of Dalton; mother, Gladys Sue Carter of Dalton; brother, Brian Chastain of Chatsworth; aunts, Carolyn Glaze and Bobby Clark; nieces, Selena Sanders, Christa Allen, and Reese Allen; great-nieces, Kairi Sanders and Peyton Allen; and great-nephew, Damon Allen.
The graveside service will be held Thursday, Feb. 27, at 2:30 p.m. at Lindsey Memorial Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Gribble officiating.
