  • Thursday, March 12, 2020

A new restaurant is opening soon at Hamilton Place in celebration of food and fun opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, in the Food Court at Hamilton Place.

Officials said, "The restaurant is expected to appeal to all ages and appetites, with plenty of vegetarian-friendly options as well as traditional meats to choose from.  The food is fun, the service is fast, and the combinations are infinite."

The first 300 customers on March 28, receive a special, limited edition Nooga Bop T-shirt.

All guests that day receive a coupon good for 50% off their next visit and are encouraged to enter to win free lunch for a year in a grand opening drawing.

"Nooga Bop offers Korean comfort food with a twist, presenting traditional flavors of Korea served in non-traditional ways. Try Kimchi paired with French fries and topped with cheese or try a Korean BBQ burrito. Don’t forget about our signature dish, the CupBop! This bowl of rice or noodles topped with your choice of fresh ingredients is sure to become a favorite for the person on the go!"

“We’ve wanted to share the traditional tastes of Korea with Chattanooga for a long time,” said owner Carlos Kal. “We’re excited to be able to finally share our favorite authentic flavors and recipes with the community.”

The restaurant is offering high-quality products at an affordable cost. All meats are 100% USDA choice. Beef is 30-day wet-aged to increase tenderness and poultry is certified antibiotic-free. The menu includes silken tofu and a wide variety of fresh vegetables to round out the offerings. The price for an entrée is expected to be under $10.

Nooga Bop will be open seven days a week during mall hours.
