  • Friday, May 29, 2020

Cempa Community Care will offer free drive-thru COVID-19 testing at the Family Church in Dayton on Wednesday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Family Church is at 3314 Rhea County Hwy.

“Alongside our wonderful community partners, Cempa has hosted four COVID-19 testing events, providing tests to nearly 1,100 people at no out-of-pocket cost,” said Shannon Stephenson, CEO at Cempa Community Care. “After seeing such strong community participation at our first four events, we are committed to continuing to meet community demand in our region and look forward to expanding our services to reach residents of Rhea County.”

Testing is available to the general public without a physician referral, and those who come for testing will remain in their vehicles throughout the process of collection.

Testing will be provided at no out-of-pocket cost. If a patient has insurance, testing site workers will document that information and bill for the services rendered. If transportation assistance is needed, please contact Tri-State Transportation at 544-1008.

Partner organizations are Cempa Community Care, LifeSpring Community Health and Alleo Health System.
