Barbara Conley
Barbara Jean Conley “Nana”, 80, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully with her loving son and daughter by her side on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, in the Hospice Care Center.
She served over 40 years as a dietary supervisor for Hamilton County School District. She was a member of Christ Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Paul Taylor; husband, Lawrence Conley, Sr.; and seven siblings. Survivors include her children, Lawrence (Gayle) Conley, Jr. and Lisa Conley (John Grier); grandchildren, Jeremy (British) Conley, Brandon Conley, and Arielle (Pierre) Jackson; great-grandchildren, Micah Conley, Madison, Conley, and Camryn Jackson; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Barbara will lie in state on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be on Friday, Aug. 14, at 2:30 p.m. in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with Pastor Calvin White as the eulogist.
