Ralph Skippy “Skip” Clemons, 73, of Orange Beach, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Skip was born in Chattanooga, to Ralph and Mildred Joyce Clemons on December 22, 1946. 

Skip graduated from Central High School in 1964 and completed the Ford Motor SAE Technical Training Program. Skip owned/operated several companies over his career which were recognized as some of the top auto detailing and restoration companies in Oxnard, Ca., Hixson, and Orange Beach, Al. 

Skip served his country as part of the U.S. Navy off the coast of Vietnam and Port of San Diego, Ca.

Skip was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mildred Clemons.

Skip is survived by his children, Jason Matthew Clemons (Caree M.) Hayley Clemons; Granddaughters, Reagan Michele and Kelsey Anne Clemons; brothers, Bobby Lee (Sandy) and Charles Michael Clemons; and several other loving family members.

A celebration of Skip’s life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel with the Reverend Wayland Stewart officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
