Richard C. Bailiff, 78, faithful and beloved father and grandfather passed from this earth on Friday, September 11, 2020.

He served in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal.

Mr. Bailiff was preceded in death by his mother and father, Jonnie Sholl Bailiff and William F. Bailiff;  two sons, Richard M. Bailiff and Charles B. Bailiff; three brothers and a sister.

He is survived by a son and daughter, Kevin B. Bailiff and Jessica Bailiff Cunningham; grandsons, Daniel Bailiff and Charles H. Cunningham and granddaughter, Emalyn Cunningham all of Chattanooga; sister, Betty Jones of Signal Mountain; granddaughter, Olivia Entwistle of Ohio.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 12-2 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Franklin Strickland Chapel.

Funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be private at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
