We Support Bill Trohanis For Mayor Of Walden - And Response

  • Wednesday, September 23, 2020

We strongly support Bill Trohanis for mayor of Walden.  Under his leadership the town and its three jewels  (the Pumpkin Patch, McCoy Farm, and the Bachman Center) have thrived in spite of the lost revenue from the state Halls tax.

He is a good steward of the Walden spirit, which maintains that the smaller the government, the better. It is not uncommon to find him on almost a daily basis either mowing grass at McCoy or solving some problem at the Town Hall.

The new firehall, due in large part to input from Mayor Trohanis, is an attractive addition to the town. The site for the new proposed Village Center (formerly Lines) is presently an eyesore, and with Bill’s leadership, it will be every bit as nice.

We would like to add our support to re-elect Bill Trohanis as Walden mayor.  As a lifelong resident of Walden, we can appreciate the job he has done as mayor.  We are very satisfied with his interest and dedication to our town.

We agree that the Line's property is an eye score and needs to be replaced.  Our new fire hall is certainly a welcomed improvement over the previous occupant. We can't imagine the mountain without Ace Hardware.

We join in the support to re-elect Bill Trohanis.
