Simon, Barbara (Cleveland)

Barbara Simon, 74, of Cleveland, passed away on January 15, 2021. A native of Pennsylvania, she was born on Oct. 9, 1946 to the late Roy and Margaret Dalton. Barbara was of the Christian faith. She loved spending time with her family and friends, seeing it snow, playing cards, watching Hallmark Christmas movies and going to Cracker Barrel.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Simon and granddaughter, Alexandria Simon.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Donna Brown, David Cropley, Steven Cropley, Edwin Simon (Kristin) and William Simon (Jackie); sister, Patricia Raby (William); 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. memorial.

The family would also like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for all their care during this time.
